Seniors enjoy annual breakfast It was really good and the decorations were really cool, was Rula Anest's comment on the senior breakfast held on Wednesday, May 20. The breakfast had a toga theme and was held at Los Laureles. Greg Alles, class president, gave a prayer before the traditional breakfast was served. Mr. Cundall, superintendent, and Mr. Armstrong, principal, each gave a short talk to the class. After eating, the group played three games that were related to the toga theme. After the games, the class met in the school gym to practice for the graduation ceremony.

Seniors take the big step Another year has come and gone and the seniors have reached the highlight of their year...graduation. Special tears fall from each person, but the memories made by this group of seniors will never be forgotten. The class chose electric blue and white for their class colors with a blue-tipped white rose for their class flower. The class motto, which was written by Robert Fertig, read: A magic pond recalls years and years forever, but I need no magic to remember these special years we've shared together.'' The thirty-nine member class received their diplomas on May 24, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Alles giving the class sermon. The valedictorian was Greg Alles and the salutatorian was Justin Krantz. The class of 1987 became known for their unique qualities and with the help of their class sponsors, Mr. Wallace, Mrs. Evans, and Mrs. Huck, they will not soon be forgotten. D. Dukesherer and B.
