Greg Alles:You have to understand everybody's views and spend a little bit of your time when the class needs you. The Bayard High School Band played at all homa games. BACK IN Back in Black is a statement about the school year of 1986-87. It is a feeling of being with friends, having homework, competing in sports, participating in activities and being involved in every aspect of school. Back in Black was also a year of new hopes and expectations, a year of new goals being set and old goals being met. It was a year of making new friends and seeing old friends graduate and BLACK move away. Starting new relationships, preparing ourselves for the future, and gaining in knowledge were all a part of 1986-87. Most of all the school year was filled with a feeling of pride for everyone that was part of Bayard High, wearing the school colors of orange and black and showing school spirit at all times. Back in Black expresses the pride of Bayard High as displayed by the student body and faculty. HfUleg The Class of Eighty-Seven We're the senior class of Bayard High, We all have hopes and dreams. Some are surprised to have made it. For some it took some schemes. It only seems like yesterday When we all first started. But, in just a very short time We will have departed. We have had a long hard struggle. Hard work we have to give. Because of it, we have learned much And through it we have lived. We look forward to bright futures. Separate ways we will go. But, while we were together We sure put on a show. In the different activities Everyone was involved. In every aspect of the school In this class it revolved. The class members like to have fun. Yet, with style and poise. On the night of graduation. We are sure to make noise. Graduation is almost here. May twenty-fourth the day. They all look so grown-up and proud. All the people will say. When time in school is over. They arrived there at 11:00a.m., checked out skis and snowmobiles and were on with a funfilled day in the mountains of Colorado. Towards the end of the day, a bus took them to the Morning Star Ranch where a sleigh pulled by two Belgian horses took them to a barn where they were served a delicious country style dinner. The folks were nice people, and the atmosphere was nice which made it a day to remember. After the seniors gathered together and loaded onto the bus we sat back and relaxed for a long journey home. Mr. Cundall, superintendent, and Mr. Armstrong, principal, each gave a short talk to the class. After eating, the group played three games that were related to the toga theme. A special tear falls each day. The friends we've made, along the way Are going their separate ways. The time has come. To say 'Good-bye' To the old and start anew We start our lives, as individuals, But thoughts turn back on you One memory. Still remains. Those we do not lack. Remember back To high school years, Remember Back in Black. Bccki Dilcu. mWALS WORTH PUBLISHING COMPANY MARCELINE M18801 R I f 8 A I I I JidilJtnojX Pjet 2 CliLUV U SvynjC Qsmn.
