Miss Leafgreen Miss Leafgreen, one of our new teachers endures the complications of the 9th and 11th grade Mr. Critchley English, speech, and two dramatic productions. Mr. Critchley, head football and wrestling coach, teaches civics, and American Problems. Mr. Dyer Mr. Dyer, another new teacher, dictates to the senior English classes and 11th American History, while striving to meet the demands of annual staff Mrs. Whitney Mrs. Whitney, one of the regulars at B. H. S. enjoys the difficulties of jr. high history and student council. She also teaches high school political geography. 5 sponsor.

Mr. Wickard Our Superintendent, Mr. Wickard, handles the budget, helps set school policy, and in general tries to see that things are running smoothly. (Left to right) Madelyn Elder-secretary, Roger Korell, Virgil Plummer-vice-president, Bill Levick, Russell Morris, Jake Reifschneider-president, Mr. E. A. McDonald, not pictured, as treasurer, is an ex-office member of the board. Mr. Engdahl Mr. Engdahl, Principal of Bayard High School, has the unenvious job of taking care of any student problems that may rise as well as the co-ordination of all school activities. The School Board These people serve as the members of the Bayard School Board. They are the ones who set the policy of our school and direct the conduct of its students. Guide lines for all activities concerning our high school are established and upheld by this group of devoted citizens. 4

Mr. Rector Mr. Rector, who came here from Hay Springs, instructs 8th grade math, Algebra I, and geomety. In addition to this he is the freshman basketball coach and head track coach. Mr. Mike Winchell Mr. Winchell, in his first year of teaching, has 8th grade science, physiology, earth science, and is an assistant football and basketball coach. Mrs. McPeek Mrs. McPeek, who lives in Gering, directs her teaching abilities toward Spanish, 10th English, and psychology- Mrs. Ewing Mrs. Ewing, another new addition, holds the dubious honor of being 7th grade math, physics, Math IV, and Algebra II instructor. Mr. Kuxhausen Mr. Kuxhausen has the pleasure of experimenting in 7th grade science, high school chemistry, and biology. 6
