SIDNEY V. CHASE M.A., Colorado State College Administrative and Supervisory Degree Superintendent The Class of 1964 is grateful to have had the privilege of traveling this highway with Mr. Chase. His counseling has led us over the mountains of confusion into green valleys of success. Our sincere appreciation is extended to him for guiding us through our high school years with a deep understanding of our many problems. JAMES L. FOREWORD The highways through high school are eventful ones. We hope that through this book, we have sketched a model of these highways to the future upon which each of us travels. Education is a wide and heavily traveled highway. There are many lanes on the highway-each leading to a desirable destination set by those who are traveling upon it. All highways are not well paved. Some highways are unpaved, rough, contain narrow and broken bridges, and at times are slippery. However, if the destination is kept in view, all dilemmas can be overcome and the highway will have served its purpose of providing a means of guidance. We are justly proud of our faculty who served as guideposts and warning signs. Many times they saved us from losing our way and helped us over the unpaved portions. 3
