During the Girls' Basketball Tournament, the girls get a chance to exhibit their basketball abilities. This annual event provides spectators with two evenings of fine basketball and plenty of humorous entertainment. The Sophomores won this year's tournament by defeating the Juniors 46-33. In the consolation game, the Seniors downed the Freshmen 66-33. I All girls participating in the games voted for All-Tournament players. Those receiving the most votes for forward positions were: Sharon Gwin, Linda Giauque, Janet Morris, llah Cline, Sharon Flores, and Billie Yekel. Guards receiving the most votes were: Vicki Huck, Charlotte Pierce, Lee Ann Pontine, Tomi Durnal, Kathy Genoways, and Marcella Skinner.
