Dueker, R. Langhofer. 21 The senior class play, “The Very Opposite Sex,” a comedy in three acts, was presented on January 26. As the audience roared with laughter, the amateur actors related, in a very unusual manner, the story of a typical group of teenagers. The French poodle and nauseating odor of feathers in the process of being manufactured into dog food were two effects of the play that the audience will long remember. pm “No! “tAumbo Jumbo” Presented The Junior Class play was a hilarious mystery farce called “Mumbo Jumbo.” The story took place in a New England home which was built on the county line. After several deaths, much confusion, and many laughs, the plot was revealed, the murderers were captured, and the play ended with a bang. The play held record attendance for any production given at the school and was enjoyed by everyone who witnessed the action. The sight of a dead Chorus girl is too much for Tweety and Mrs. Custer.
