'77teA4 i 2e pKMt t To The Class of 1957: Graduating Seniors, you are completing one phase of your life and are about to embark on another. For some this phase is a stepping stone to future college and vocational training while for others this phase will end your formal educational training. We hope that the problems encountered and experiences gained while attending Bayard High School will have prepared you well for meeting the problems and experiences that you will face in the future. We wish you success and happiness in all your future ventures. A job well done is a sound foundation for happiness. Sincerely, NORVAL R. TROUT Principal To The Class of 1957: I offer my congratulations to the class of ’57 and particularly the annual staff and sponsor, Roma Jean Mansfield, for this fine annual. This no doubt will be a treasured reminder of the many happy hours, days, months and years spent acquiring your education in the Bayard High School. As a final word—permit me to admonish you of the following: Be self-reliant, be industrious, be quick to decide favorably on moral and spiritual values, be ready and willing to serve mankind and above all, be demanding of self discipline and finally, be a continuous learner. My best wishes go with you. IVAN CHRISTIAN Superintendent

7 Oevi ‘P teette . . , The Senior Class of 1957 dedicates “The Tiger” to Mr. and Mrs. Jake Krantz in appreciation for the guidance and understanding which they have rendered our class during the five years they have served as class parents. This opportunity for expression is a happy one for us; now we can say publicly what we have felt privately about this Class since your junior high school days. You have been a vital part of our lives. We have worried about some things and hoped for the best. Yet we’ve loved you and have been proud of you, too. We are proud to have been Class Parents for this Class of 1957. We hope that the future holds only happiness and prosperity for each and every one of you personally. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Krantz
