m emoriam Floyd Michal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Michal, was bom on June 6, 1930. He began school in Bayard with the members of this years graduating class. Although Floyd was a quiet sort of boy, he took interest in many school activities. He made many friends and was a conscientious student. In his freshman year he was stricken with infantile paralysis. Although this dread disease took his life, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all those who knew him. It is to his memory the seniors, his classmates, dedicate this page of the Tiger of 49.
