This year's play en' titled Star Light, Star Bright was a comedy involving a family with very complicated problems, Among these problems were a literary father vvhose vvriting never sold, a daughter who at sixteen was in love with love, a son who hated girls, a so- phisticated lady publisher, and a mother who tried to keep all her family intact, Mrs. Joan Duprey, whose bubbling personality gave a lift to tired, stage-struck seniors, di- rected the play. She was as- sisted by lvlr. Bill Richard. The cast and all concerned will long remember the hours spent in rehearsal, the study lnalls spent in learning lines instead of chemiS y, props that could not be found, and the general or- ganized confusion brought about by the production of a sehior class play. Studert and faculty critics all agreed that the play was light, fun, and eycellently directed and acted.
