Fun In The Summe1't1me The doors reopened - Summer School 1984. Three days after the close of the regular season of school, summer school was in session. It was a need - it was a choice. The long hot summer stretched longer for those who were in by 7:00a.m. and out by 1:00p.m. Classes were 3 hours long and breaks were Hfteen minutes long. Two longer breaks that ga ve students and teachers a reprieve were the Fourth of July and Water Festi- val celebrations. The festival was an annual event held at the Waterfront. Flea markets, parachute jumps, air shows, Ronald McDonald, cotton candy, cokes, hotdogs and us - great fun lincluding sum- mer schoolj in the summertime. l J.
