These the committees in charge of the Valentine 4.1 The Junior High students use the seventh grade units as out- lined in the South Dakota course. A regular class in current events meets daily, using the national current event paper. Unit scales of attainment were given to measure the progress of the classes. Entrees in the county spelling contest were Lyle Fritz,grad VIII and Ronald Ehrke, grade VII. Lyle won second place. English classes used the English Activity course. They con- tributed articles to the Brown YQHI' . The Literature Appreciation three books of fiction and reading every student earned 25 Betty and Phyllis are cataloging books. The Y. C.
