The course alternates with alg- ebra. lodern bielogy'taken from a practical standooint was studied this year. Outside projects suchas the growingci' plants, raising fish and earthworms were underteken. The class make a trip to Siebrecht's greenhouse and florist shop to gain in- formation on the growin5 and care of flowers. In the study of dogs, material was obtained from dog kennels in many parts of the United States. Field trips were taken to collect types of soil. Interesting and varied reports were given by the students. There are being some changes made. The girls are also taking indus- trial arts by constructing bird houses, which will give them a T better understanding, frmnthefioe logical aspect, of housing birds. l8

Two years of shop are offered, which include drawing, woodworking, finishing metal, s1d n clude other units of general shop as the hojs show individual interests. The superintendent's pride and joy is the neatly made lawn chair con- structed by his power with tools. Shop boys learn methods of apply- ing finish with the newly acquir- ed paint sprayer. These are the cabinets in the in- formation section of the shop. HI'm from Missouri,H says Hr. Krull to Daryel Ellis as Ddryel springs a new method of squaring- up stock. 'Well arranged tin-snips, mallets, and drills decorate the walls of the metal cabinet.

4 K' sl John Nelsvn became the Batn School custodian in 1922. Previous to this he was custodian at Vebridge and Northern Normel in Aberdeen. Hr. Nelson has Uitneesed many changes in the Bath School Since l92Z. Some mf these ire a piped drinking water system, Englisn and tvping room, the addition of the Qrammar rooy building, the remodeling of the Home economics department and the electrification of the Bath lawn Hall and church .
