Today ' s YN ' s use computers to manage all aspects of the ships administrative requirements. Major responsibilities include; maintaining command instmctions and directives, managing official mail expenditures, producing the Plan-of-the- Day, routing coirespondence within the command, personnel awards tracking, maintaining all aspects of Officer related transactions from receipts to transfers and maintaining the Officer Service Record.
