The principal husiness at each meeting is discussing and voting on measures presented to the Council bv the home rooms it represents. This year, in an endeavor to assume civic responsibility, this group has contributed liherallv to the YVest lfnd Recreational Coun- eil. It has also made contacts with such outside organizations as the Traffic Division of the Police Department, the Board of Recrea- tion, the Park Board, and the Telephone Company. One of the interesting projects which is heing financed hy the Student Council is the making of a large American flag hy the sew- ing classes of lklrs. Cecile Church.
