StudentLeagueStudentLeagueStudentLeague Student League is a service and rec- reational club, open to ail members of Bassett High School, and each year the club sponsors the Christmas Ball. Student League has helped many other clubs at Bassett. For example, last year they gave the Art Dept. about $150 to purchase a gem-polish- ing machine. They also gave the P.E. Dept. some $400 which enabled them to get a Crylon machine to aid injured students. Advisor Tokijo Ochi pointed out that the athletes have a home base to set standards. The group keeps score and sells candy to raise money. The members of BAIA must work in several sports to earn a let- ter, which Bassett ' s women excel, BAIA has a tradition that produces winners as evidenced by the records.
