All teams won their first league match against Workman H,S. The coach pre- dicted at the beginning of the season that the team should be one of the best in league. Some of the top players include Eileen Kamidoi No. 1 Singles and Connie Gonzales No. 2 Sin- gles. Doubles teams include Vivian Villegas and Aurora Salcido No. 1 team. No. 2 team is Elaine Delmarral and Pauline Ramirez. Boys are doing very well in competition also, winning their first game against Workman H.S. No. 1 Singles is Donald Miley. No. 2 Singles John Collins. Co-Ed teams include John Collins and Eileen Kamidoi, Donald Miley and Connie Gonzalez, Eddie Hernandez, and Martha Solis. Boys ' Tennis Beginning the season with a roster of new players, Bassett ' s tennis team met oppos- ing teams with high spirits. Gaining expe- rience as the season progressed, the team gained several victories. Individually, Anthony Farmer was the strongest man on the team and was the number one singles player.
