Girls ' Track The girls ' track team faced many obstacles this year. They lost three top sprinters Michelle Thomas, Linda Nonwood, and Cathy Woods, which left a huge gap to fill for new runners. The pre-season track meets were cancelled because of rain, which caused the new runners to have lesS| experience in race-running when the sea-| son meets were scheduled. Coach Watt stated at the beginning of the season, she has a fine group of young ladies returning from last year, and a newj group of runners who gained muchj needed experience for next year. Watt has an enormous amount of confidence in these young lady athletes and stated that with a fine team effort, skill, and ability, the girls ' track team will always come outj on top.
