From the victories of the senior float competition and Superstar Rally, seniors like Teresa Connor and Kenny Richter were always ac- tive in school activities. Homecoming and Prom proved to he the higgest and hest happenings this school had ever seen. Led hy Chris Maestas, Scott Derrick, Terri Davis, and Dehra Turner, the senior class cfficers, the class of '84 was charged up throughout the year. Seniors like Tami Kay and Steve Walden helped lead the seniors to class competition vic- tories during assemhlies. Homecoming was the hest this school ever saw. Frendy Rivero reigned over the entire exciting week. Mark Bower and Lisa Martinez helped produce the senior's winning float. All the seniors, like Danny Evans and Stacy Hoover, got involved thoroughly with Homecoming Week. Roxanne Perez and Dan Stopka dressed fir such days as Preppy-Levis-and Shades Day. The seniors, with the help if Michelle Carson and jar! Martindale, won the Superstar Rally, heating out the other three classes, the alumni, and the faculty. The tradition cf painting the B , was kept alive again this year. jeff Tury, Melissa judd, and Sandy Millis helped paint the B along with many other seniors. Seniors like Barhara Doran anc Ceton Van Meter kept cool on the mountain, hy splashing wate: on one another. As April 28 started rolling in, senior prom queen, Lisa Bet tencourt and her escort, Eddie Clegg, got more and more nervou. as the hig evening approached. Many fund raisers were held iz order to make this year's prom the hest ever. During the year Tracy Ryan and Bettyzflnn Davis wer' constantly visiting with Mrs. Dyck trying to receive scholar- ships and college information. Many seniors planned to enter college to pursue careers. May pnally arrived., Seniors, joe Groves and Michelle Wilsdorf were husy trying to get their caps and gowns, whils others like Sheena Strange and Lloyd Trujillo, were wondering ahout that glorious walk down the aisle to adulthood. Gradua- tion was the higgest event ofthe whole year. Kenn Soloman ana Cheryl Wilkins were ready and willing to venture into the hig had outside world.
