puffy Alam oenioro t was a chilly evening on the sixth M October when the Superstar Rally was held. The Wolves Den was packed with anxious spectators, wrapped in an assortment of coverings, watching the awesome Senior team roll to an easy six-point victory over the Alumni team. I really didn't think that I could catch her, hut I just kept on pushing, then I caught up and then I passed her, stated Senior john Fruchey ahout his speedy anchor leg to win the 440 tricycle race, when he came from a quarter ofa lap down to catch the Sophomore. In my four years the class Q' '84 has never faired well in anything, hut this year things turned around and we were practically unheatahle, expressed Senior Eddie Clegg. The highlight mf that chilly evening was the 'pie in the eye contest when Senior ace C. Maestas smothered Mr. Augshurger with an ice cold lemon meringue pie. Mrs. Derrick also expressed that the Rally, along with the rest ofthe Homecoming activities went great. Thanks to the Senior class hr making this the hest Homecoming in the history of Basic High.
