ST DENT COUNCIL Every Thursday morning a group of interested students meet to discuss various changes that would better the school and the community. Certain objectives were made for this year such as increased student involvement in student government and better relations with other schools. Such areas have been noticeably changed, and a more positive attitude toward the council has been observable. President Scott Wolff and Vice-president Bill LeBlanc set up a system of committees to head action in areas such as activities, entertainment, and student exchanges. Using this structure enables more students to be directly involved in government. With the arrival of our new Head- master, Dr. Quinn, it was an importantjob of the student council to inform him of Barstow's past and to discover what he hopes for its future RIGHT: The activities committee of the stu dent council sponsored this car wash on the Saturday ofthe Country Fair ,- R-., Left to right SEATED Mrs Cravens Dr Quinn Mrs Borden STANDING Mr Lawson Wolff president Bill LeBlanc vice president Andrea lVlarkl Sue Holden Alan Marrullier Diane Hall Mr Lacy 16 .l':'x- Ml. l . raw Barbie Christopher, Mary Clarkson secretary JR Williams Carol Davis David Neihart Scott
