OC - DIVISIO OC Division, or the ship's Communicators had an ever ending job during the deployment. It was the job of the Radiomen and Signalmen to insure a proper and timely flow of information from senior Commanders to BARRY. In Radio Central the ship's teletypes never rested from the day we departed Mayport to the day we returned. On the signalbridge visual message traffic would come in at any hour of the day via flashing light or semaphore. In June the Communications Gang participated in their annual Tycommex. As usual, the division came through with flying colors with an outstanding score of 91 percent.
