Chief among these was the introduction of a much welcomed mid-morning 'tmilk breakfl The council led the way in urging other school organizations to sponsor assemblies featuring professional talent. Twenty-six Barrington students held active mem- bership in the Rhode Island branch of the Junior Alliance Francaise. Five meetings, held at various times throughout the year, afforded an opportunity for members to exchange experiences and ideas with students from other public and private schools throughout the state.
