The closest score in Jayvee competition was the Bristol gauze at Barrington. After a tough battle. Barrington won by the seore of 4-2-38. This game was almost as exciting as the history making var- sity game. where Barrington gave Colt its worst defeat in ll! years. During the season. the Jayvee team showed exeellent team work and always did well when the pressure was on. Everyone on the team played well at all times. Among the most outstanding players were Ray St. Vincent, Bud Anderson. Arnold Whittelsey. lt. Butler. Hans lVlautner. Tony lasa. and Fred Rlaekinton. Always ready to take over were Apples Grady, Dribble Some More Hardy, and all of the other substitutes.

After losing four in a row. the squad downed St. Andrew's yvees by a score of 4-4-33. Hardy and Pompei led the attack th ten points each. Gaining revenge for an earlier defeat, the ys overpowered LaSalle 4-1-33. lasa and Hardy netted ten rints each, and Larrabee starred in rebounding. Tony lasa amassed 78 points in five gamesg his single game iigh was 22 points in the game against R. 1. Training hool.
