Sensor Class Hustory On September 8th, flfteen enthuslastlc travelers started the1r hlgh school journeys at Barrett High School After an early 1n1t 1on we were OfflC18llY HGreen Freshmen' Ib selected Mr Hauer as our gulde w1th Ronald Moe as presldent, Beverly Yell as vlce presldent, and Marllyn ROSIH as secretary treasurer Durlng the year Bonnle Sprouls left to camp ln Perham and Shlrley Wambolt ln Moorhead We galned a new member, Leon Behrends from Choklo Havlng galned one new camper, Kenneth Thompson, we started our sophomore year w1th fourteen members We 1n1t1ated the Freshmen wnnch was also on the date of Homecomlng Glorla Johnson was our Homecon1ng Lueen candidate Our gulde for the year was C H Dreler w1th Kay Peterson as presldent, Peter Ehlers as vlce pres ident, and Ronald Johnson as secretary treasurer In January we 8CQU1F9d two new campers, Donna Dick, Sloux Raplds, Iowa and Stan ley Bottlneau, Remer, Minnesota Stanley Bottlneau, Beverly Yell nd Kenneth Thompson left us to camp elsewhere dLr1ng the year e began our JUH1OT year w1th thlrteen members Our gulde for the year was Mr Schaible w1th Marllyn Rosln as presldent, Verner Johnson as v1ce presldent and Donna Dlck as secretary treasurer Donna Dlck and Marle Olson were our candldates for hOm9COm1Hg Queen In March Marllyn Rosln left us sprlng we gave our class play WF1nders of May our banquet and prom were held Beg1nn1ng our senlor year, eleven D1ck, now Mrs Duane Moe, left us to b to camp 1n Cokato In the Creepersn At the beglnnlng members returned Donna gln marrled llfe To gulde us through the year were Mr Schalble and Mr Olson wlth Robert Frarck as presldent, Carrol Johnson as v1ce presldent, and Glorla Johnson as secre ary treasurer Homecomlng Klng and Queen were Ronald Moe and Kay Peterson Robert Frarck, Ronald Johnson, Marle Olson and Glorla Johnson were attendants from our class In Nov mber we gave our class play HShy Guyn We ordered our class rlngs and recelved them before Fhanksglvlng On May 29 1958, we flnlshed our school days at Barrett Hlgh School emor Class Prophecy The year lS 1975 and we flnd great changes have taken place ln Barrett A launchlng statlon for space shlps to the moon has been erected We arrlve on the B R O Rallroad whlch has replaced the Soo L1ne due to the lnfluence of Mrs Harrls Bougsleln QMBPIS Olsonl They occupy the last car wlth thelr n1ne destructable demons of whlch lt is sald accldently set flre to a ChlC8gO hotel The con ductor, Leon Ben1ends,helps us off the traln H15 wlfe CNancy Olson! 1S wa1t1ng at the depot wlth thelr two boys We lunched at the fabulous Moon Glow Cafe whlch Mrs Peter Fhlers lVerl1e Blockl operates whlle Peter 15 worklng for hls mas ters degree 1n chemlstry Verlle lnforms us Bobby rrarck 1S UDEIP Off1Cl31 food tester and st1ll a bachelor fter belng dlvorced three tlmes We are served the famous Vlntage Klne that comes from the Johnson Vlnery owned by Mr and Mrs Verner Johnson iSh1rle Anderson?
