The group served as ushers for the Open House, presented an evening program for all Birmingham NIHS members and parents, maintained a display of interesting paintings in the main hall, took a variety of field trips and sponsored a spring dance. The high point of the year was the induction of new eighth and ninth grade members. An assembly was held to honor the new members and new members and their parents were entertained at a tea following the induction program
