THE CAPTAIN as if if as If if X FFIQI-E Commander Peter S. Corr, Jr. was graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1958. He is a native of Providence, Rhode Island. Upon graduation he was introduced to destroyers by serving as Communications, CIC, and Operations Officer of USS CHARLES R. WARE QDD 8655. Later he served as CIC Officer of the USS DAHLGREN QDLG 12l and as Executive Officer of the USS CLAUDE V. RICKETTS QDDG 55. He has been Commanding Officer of the USS KINGBIRD QMSC 194l. Tours of shore duty have included participation in the Nuclear Power Training Program and service in Washington, D.C. in the Bureau of Naval Personnel and as Personal Aide to the Chief of Naval Material. He has attended the Armed Forces Staff College and he received a Master of Business Administra- tion Degree from Harvard University. Commander Corr's record is one of high achieve- ment. The performance of the BARNEY in STANAVFORLANT is in keeping with that record.

Lieutenant Commander McHenry, a native of Granville, New York, was commissioned into the United States Navy out of the Officers' Candidate School program in 1964. His tours of duty include serving on the USS CAMP tDER 251l, the USS SAMUEL B. ROBERTS QDD 8233 and at the Fleet Training Center in Norfolk. He has studied at Destroyer School, at George Washington University where he received an M.B.A. degree in Financial Management, and at the Armed Forces Staff College and has been an instructor at the United States Naval Academy. He was Executive Officer of the ocean minesweeper, USS CONFLICT QMSL 42613 received an M.S. degree in Operations Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Californiag and served as Advisor to the Vietnamese Joint General Staff, Headquarters MACV. He, his wife, Joanne, and their children, Jennifer and Joey, were happy to learn that his next duty station will be at the Armed Forces Staff College and they will get to stay in the Norfolk area. When questioned about hobbies, he replies that he has two -the navy and golf. 1 . . .
