Homecoming Week i80, Sept. 29 a Oct. 3, was the most spirited that BHS has ever seen. Students participated more than ever before. Monday, tourists roamed the halls in search of the perfect vacation spot. Tuesday, dressed in their wildest clothes, students watched Mark Perry stuff 46 marshmallows into his mouth. Twin Day was Wednesday, and we were seeing dou- ble. At noon, the seniors surpassed every- one in the VW push held in front of the school. Thursday, all were wearing their most comfortable T-shirts. It was only right, too, for I donit think anyone was uncomfortable beating up an old car which had the Boyd County playersi names on it. One might say that the car bash was a usmashingn success. The parade was a suc- cess, too. First place float was won by the Art Club, with National Honor Society coming second, and Latin Club third. Fri- day, excitement was building in anticipa- tion of the big game. The senior class members put their excitement to good use by winning the tricycle race on the track. The pep assembly was great! Talk about equal rights . . . the role change was hilari- ously funny and it heightened the spirits of the student body. All this spirit did not go to waste. because we won the game. Kama Conrad was introduced at half-time as this yearis Homecoming Queen. Attendants to the Queen were Junior Robin Rowe and Sophomore Rebecca Kern. Robin Howell
