CLASS OBSERVES COLOR DAY Senior Class Color Day, January 6, 1981, marked the last day that the senior class would gather as a group before graduation. Master of ceremo- nies, Andy Lingenfelter, introduced the homeroom representatives. The homerooms stood and pinned their colors on as their representatives received their colors from Melody Johnson. Speeches were given by the Senior Executive Committee of Student Council. Melody Johnson and Jeff Goad explained the selection of the colors, Burgundy and Pink. Cindy Hammett spoke on the Pink Rose Bud, the class flower. Renee Butler explained the class motto: tilf you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you dream it, you can become it? Guest speaker, Mr. Richard Fill- more, gave an inspiring speech on life after graduation. 74
