Furthermore, the club,s members must be able to read mathematical literature so mathematics is learned independently and incorporated with new developments. long with individual projects the club plans to have guest speakers from throughout the community report on facets of mathe- cs that are of particular concern to members of the club. The focus on the projects is placed upon utilizing mathematics in real- d situations along with emphasis being placed upon mathematics as an art. The projects also emphasize the relationship of math- tics to the other sciences. The chorus consists of approximately 100 students who work hard throughout the year to produce pro- grams for the student body and various pub- lic functions. Through their efforts this year, they performed pro- grams at Christmas and had a Spring Tal- ent Show. As well as hard work being a part of the Vocal Music Department provides much enjoyment for its members.
