Furthermore, the club,s members must be able to read mathematical literature so mathematics is learned independently and incorporated with new developments. long with individual projects the club plans to have guest speakers from throughout the community report on facets of mathe- cs that are of particular concern to members of the club. The focus on the projects is placed upon utilizing mathematics in real- d situations along with emphasis being placed upon mathematics as an art. The projects also emphasize the relationship of math- tics to the other sciences.
