The freshman class, with forty-one members, was the most active class in the high school, for example, the freshmen had the biggest class repre- sentation in the band. Those who went out for football were David Dow, Michael Alley, Charles llall, Christopher White, and Nelson Walls. The freshmen partici- pating in jayvee basketball were Peter Young, Dana Cleaves, Nelson Walls, Lloyd Norwood, and Peter Kingsley. Peter Young, Richard Russell, and Gerald Johnson were football managers, Richard Russell was also varsity basketball assistant manager. Corrine Farrell, Geraldine Hodgkins, and Grace Reddy were on the jayvee cheering squad. Mary Owens, Diane lngalls, Laurie Beckett. Sonja Clat- worthy, and Richard Russell worked on the school play, Mary and Diane taking part in the play. Mary Owens, Jesse Higgins. Allison Fisher, and Diane Dori' played on the girls, basketball team. Sonja Clalworthy was a majorette. Christopher Vvhite. Gerald Johnson. Michael Doyle, Mary Owens. Diane Ingalls, and Joyce Hig- gins did a fine job in debating. Our Student Council representative was Mary Owens. Boyd Vlfasgatt was on the Assembly Com- mittee.
