. . . Homecoming, Crowds, Expectation, . . . Saturday, October 19. lt began with the Varsity Basketball team's victory over their Alumni opponents. Home- coming activities continued as crowds lined the streets and B.B.C. went on dis- play for the borough of Clarks Summit. A Weekend We'II Visitors, Dedication, . . Prior to B.B.C.'s biggest weekend ever, Dr. Pickering hosted area' munity understanding. Then, on Friday, October 18, high school stu- e dents from across America convened on campus to get acquainted with college life. ln the midst of tours, seminars, and a musicalfdra- matic presentation, B.B.C. family and friends gathered for an historic occasion-the dedication of the Student Center. The keys of this liv- ing building were formally presented to Rev. Mark Jackson, chair- man ofthe Board of Trustees, by Mr. Lloyd McCullough, contractor. A plaque was also presented by the college family to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Symonds in grateful appreciation for the gift of the Rodgers - organ.
