Senior Class Prophecy We have just entered a Swami's house lMadame Torshka, and she is going to tell us where the seniors of '59 are and what they are doing in 1969. Madame Torshka gazes into her crystal ball and quietly watches until the cloudiness clears away. The first image to appear is that of Bernie Wynne. After graduating, Bernie had several jobs, none of which satisfied him. Then a wonderful opportunity arose and Bernie is now head technician at a missile launching base. Rumor has it that he will be chosen to man thel first moon rocket. He is married and has three lovely red-haired chi dren. Next Swami shows us David Hughbanks. After graduating Dave went to college and then got a Job as an executive with Standard Oil. He worked very hard and learned the business well. He is now President of his own company CSaudi-Americal in Saudia Arabia. Dave married a girl he met in collegeg they now have three children. Swami has aflicker on her crystal ball again. This time it's Christina Loyd, the former Christina Olsen. Christina had been employed at Warner Brothers Studio for eight years and is now married to the top dramatic star of the day, James Loyd. As of yet she has no children, and is seriously considering a movie contract offer. Madame Torshka tells us that she cannot quite bring in the next image. Ah, yes, here it comes. It's Bill ---- Bill, Bill Britthouer. It seems that Bill is Vice President of General Motors now. He has a fat income every year and lives in a swank, ultra-modern house in the suburbs of Glendale, California. Bill isn't married but he has several offers every year. Madame Torshka tells us that it is now her lunch hour and invites us to accompany her. We go to the El Camino Restaurant, one of a large chain, and who do you suppose we see there? Why, it's Linden Snyder. Lin tells us that after school he bought a small restaurant in Denver and gave itsome class. He liked this so well that he did the same again. Now his famous restaurants stretch from Denver to New York. Lin is married to a beautiful model from Denver and they have four sweet children. We return to Madame Torshkaw establishment and she shows us the former Glynette Anderson. Glynette's love for adventure is finally fulfilled. While attending college in Missouri she met and married Roy Gregmann, They are now living in Florida where Roy traps alligators huthe everglades. They have six children over whom Glynette has to keep close surveilance because the oval-shaped swimming pool in her gorgeous back yard is filled brim full of alligators that her husband found particularly interesting. Carl Bybee is next to appear. Carl married a highschool sweetheart and is now living in Wyoming where he has a successful wheat farn1inaddition to a dairy herd. He has five darling children, one of whom is in an honorary school in Michigan for especially intelligent children. The next image is that of the Banner County High School. Here we find Owen Anderson. Owen went on to college and graduated near the top of his class. He immediately went to Cal. Tech. and accepted a professorship teaching chemistry. He married a Kimball girl while stillattending college. They now live in a beautiful home on campus with their two children. We now travel ndown Mexico way.n Here we find Marvin Thompson. Marvin was married shortly after graduating from college and went to Acapulco in Southern Mexico. One might wonder what Mo would be doing here, but he is doing very well in his trade. He is raising bulls for the newly revived sport of bull fighting. On the side Mo also raises hairless dogs and white mink. This pleases his wife immensely. To end the journey for today Swami now shows us Velma Phillips, the former Velma Heard. Velma renewed an old romance after she graduated and married a boy from Kentucky. She now fills her days with the problems of her eight children Qfour sets of twinsl. In her spare? time she helps her husband tend to their 20 acres of tobacco. The Phillips family lives in a modern ranch-style home nestled in the hills of Kentucky.
