Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom nGarden In the Starsu was the theme ofthe annual Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom held May 2, at the Scottsbluff Country Club. Mr. Gill, junior class sponsor, gave the invocation. Terry Brown, junior class president and master of ceremonies, gave the welcome, and Owen Anderson, president of the senior class, responded. nGardening Tipsu was the topic of Mr. Anderson's after dinner address. M . Downs and Mr. Harper were called upon for a vocal duet accompanied by Miss Morris. The theme was carried out in the decorations and table appointments. The table centerpiece was a bouquet of red roses and white carnations, and the nut cups were small wishing wells. A carnation-entwined white picket fence surrounded the dancing area and opened onto the banquet area through a green arbor. Stars hung from the ceiling and a wishing well containing goldfish was placed in one corner. The theme name in large silver letters adorned one wall. A basket of carnations was placed at each side of the pink throne. The queen, Glynette Anderson, was crowned by Terry Rrown, and the king, Owen Anderson, was crowned by Sharon Hight. Roth were presented with gifts.
