SENl0Il CLASS HlSTORY In 1955 we started out as freshmen with eight in our class. The first semester we lost Gene Hill, and were then the smallest class in the school. Our sponsor was Miss Eugenio from Hawaii. The next fall we lost Tom Singleton and Catherine Cleveland, who transferred to McGraw, but gained Mona Van Pelt from Sidney and Joyce Tunin from Bayard. Our sponsor was Miss Kent, the English teacher. The fall of 1957 brought us several new students. They were Cherie Benson from Bushnell, Bruce Wynne from Pine Bluffs, and Lennis Anderson from South Dakota. This was a busy year for us. Our prom, nFantasyland,n was held at the Scottsbluff Country Club. Our play was nProfessor, How Could Youlm This year our sponsor was Mr. Downs, Seniors, at lastlll In March we lost two of our boys, Jim Stauffer and Bruce Wynne, They finished the next nine weeks at home, but were unable to graduate with us, Mr. Anderson was our sponsor this year. Our play nlf You Knew Kathyn was given the night of April 25th, Bright and early the next morning we were on our way to Denver on Sneak Day, The prom, which the Juniors gave for us was held at the Scottsbluff Country Club, May 3rd, The theme was nShangrila,n Our graduation was may 22, the biggest event of all.
