E l0R CLASS PRUPHECY Let's look ahead and see what the seniors of '58 are doing ln 1968. As we walk down the streets of Harrisburg the first one of our class- mates we see is Lennie Anderson. She tellsus that she has just been chosen 'Miss Harrisburg' of 1968. She was also given a screen test and will be starring in the picture 'There's 011 in Them Thar H1lls.' Well, here's Linda Singleton, formerly Linda Behllng. After graduating from high school she was married. Here we see her twelve cute red-headed kids. Hey, what's wrong? Oh! twins. We say goodbye to Linda and contlnue on down the street and who do we see but Carroll Mathews. In the fall of '58 Carroll Joined the army and served his country well for eight years. He then came back to Banner County and married one of his high school sweethearts. They live onaa3,000 acre farm south of Harrisburg. Coming out of the Gamble store, which they now own and operate, are Johnny Carlson and his wife, a former Kimball girl. Johnny was married two years after graduating and now has five children--qulntuplets. He seems very happy. Now we see Cherie Muhr, as we knew her Cherie Benson. After ten long years they are finally going to have a little Muhr. They want a boy and plan to name him Larry, Jr. They both attended Greeley State Teachers' College and have teaching positions at Harrisburg. Here comes Bruce Wynne, and he tells us that he Joined the air force a year after graduating. He served for five years, spending three of them on the Hawaiian Islands. Upon returning to the United States he married a Banner County girl. They have two pretty blonde girls. He is now a pilot for the Harrisburg Air Lines. Well, if it 1sn't Joyce Tunln. We find that for the last nine years Joyce has been employed as secretary to the superintendent of Harrisburg Grade School. We noticed she is wearing a large diamond, and she tells us she is to be married in a week to Ralph Quador. She invites ue to the wedding. We do not see Bruce Snyder anywhere, but after talking to Bruce Wynne we find that he has gone to Hollywood and is now happily married to a beautiful model. He owns and operates a respectable and exclusive bar in downtown Hollywood. In his spare time you will find him driving around in his Jaguar with his family. We see Jim Stauffer driving past in a Cadillac convertible. His wife, the former Judy Bathman, drives one just like lt. Besides farming, Jim raises coon dogs. He and Judy live on a large ranch, and besides being surrounded by coon dogs they have six cute kids. They lead a qu1et??? life. The last one of our classmates we meet ls Mona Busch, the former Mona Van Pelt. She tells us that after going to college for a year she toured Europe and there met a handsome young man whom she later married. They live a quiet life with three children in Switzerland, and are now visiting in the United States. Waffle Shop Bourrett Hardware 229 S. Chestnut St. 208 S. E l0R CLASS WILL We, the seniors of 1958, being of improved and weary minds from the result of four years of tedious search of wisdom, now in a spirit of great generosity do hereby bestow upon those who left to mourn our loss, the following bequests: To the Junior class, all its laughs and giggles, unsolved puzzles, tardy and absent marks, all its unchewed gum, and all the football and basketball scores. To the sophomore and freshman classes, collectively and individually, we convey our power of saying the wrong thing in the right place, or the rlght thing in the wrong place. Just how this is accomplished we are not able to say. There is no doubt that much benefit will result from the effort of working this out. To the Janitors, ten dried up gooseplmples from some cold winter mornings, and all the gum on the floor. To the teachers, all the speeding tickets we d1dn't make use of, the papers we never handed ln, and our many thanks for their patience and teachings which will never be forgotten by the senior class. To the community at large, the commodity which the seniors have had in great abundance and which the world most sorely needs--their entire stock of common sense. I, Lennis Anderson, do will and bequeath to Neva Owen my height, and to Bernie Wynne my A's in citizenship. I, Cherie Benson, do will and bequeath to Velma Heard my ability to control my temper and hope she uses lt more than I did. To Hr. Gill I leave my studious MEHHSPS, sweet disposition, and my grades: he can give them to someone else if he can find anyone like me. I, John Carlson, do will and bequeath to Harold Peterson my height, and Kent Malm my ability to stay out of trouble. I, Carroll Mathews, do will and bequeath to Linden Snyder my ability to get in before midnight, and to Bemis Wynne my ability to haveagood time. I, Linda Behling, do will and bequeath to Judy Bathman my ability to go with one boy for four years, and to Bettie Swan my red hair. I, Bruce Snyder, do will and bequeath to Bernie Wynne my ability to stay out of trouble, which I never used, and to Neal Mathews my ability to get out of Mr. G1ll's study halls. I, Jim Stauffer, do will and bequeath to Bernie Wynne my short haircut, and to David Hughbanks my ability to almost stay out of trouble my senior year. I, Joyce Tunin, do will and bequeath to Mr. Gill my C in citizenship as a return favor, and to Velma Heard my 5'2' height. I, Mona Van Pelt, do will and bequeath to Bettie Swan my wardrobe Kin exchange for hers, of coursel, and to Sharon Hlght my D'e in citizen- ship. I, Bruce Wynne, do will and bequeath to Mr. Gill my ability to drive, and to Linden Snyder by ability to get home before sunrise. wheat-Growers Hotel Dodd's Department Store 102 S. Oak St. 107 S.
