FRESHMAN PARTY On the evening of November 18, the freshmen sponsored a hayride in honor of the sophomores. Mr. Willard Stoddard took his truck. C, Fillmore Cobb of the Harrisburg Community church officiated, Commencement exercises were held on May 22, 1958, also in the new auditorium, Short speeches were given by the valedictorian and salutato- rian, After the commencement address, diplomas were presented by Alden Anderson, President of the Board of Education. ,, !:?.c.g Q v 'ss- sl

FUOTBALL BANQUET The P.H.S. girls gave the Football Banquet November 22, 1957 in honor of the football team. The theme of the banquet was FIGHT. Speeches were given by Mr. Downs, Jim Stauffer, Bernie Wynne, Mr. Lehr and Marvin Thompson. Cherie Benson also gave a speech on behalf of the cheerleaders. Mona Van Pelt acted as Mistress of Ceremonies. Diana Johnson presented two very nice tap dances and Mr. Qulnonez gave an impersonation. The P.H.S. mothers prepared the delicious meal which was served by the prospective P.H.S. members. After the banquet, we danced and then the king, queen, and attendants were announced. Jim Stauffer was klngg Judy Rathman, queeng Mona Van Pelt, queen's attendantg and Marvin Thompson, k1ng's attendant. Everyone had a nice time, -W Q ww W Alden Insurance Agency 225 S.
