6255558723 ZSAQZQS Behind the victories of this year's football and basketball teams were three loyal team mates. None of these three played a single instant of any game---yet they inspired many a victory. These were the cheer- leaders of nineteen hundred fifty and fifty-one. When they started out the yenr, there were four of them, but Ida Lou Cleveland got married, and quit school, so this left Lynors McGowan, Devota Rohrs, and Eloise Snyder to do the Job. Through out the season--in victory and defeat-- thuse three have backed up their tesm with the same spirit as Lhe players on the teams They have worked hare, spending many sn hour just to be able to do their best to help thelr team, dur hearty praise should go to these girls for keenlng up the morale of the team as well as the other rooters, This year, just before summer vacation, Eloise Snyder, Lynors McGowan, Shirley Sven, Evelyh Jessup, and Dorothy Peterson were chosen as the cheerleaders for l95l and 1952.
