After a su mer of hard work, eight dignified sen! lors heard Nr. Anderson ring the bell calling them back to school on August 28, 1t50. There were sixteen new faces as they entered the assembly hallg these faces were those of the new fresh- men. The su mer events were discussed with old friends As the seniors saw the freshmen just starting first year in high school made them think of fist year in school. When they were green freshmen, there were members in their class. Elmer Schmidt was their sor. They were initiated by the sophomore class their their twelve spon- The freshman class had two parties that year. Don Kelly, Albe ta Hayman, Keith Cross, Lloyd Pickett, Peggy Vuhr, and Eddie Twombly left the class during and after the freshman year. During the sophomore year, the class started with eight me bers. Nr. Davis was their sponsor, and on September 21, 1948, they initiated the freshman class, consisting of eleve members. After initiation, the sophomore class held a picnic for freshman class in the Wildcat Hills. , During the last part of the last semester, of their sophomore year, they lost another member. She was Thelma Callaham, who moved up near harrison, Hebr. Then came the Junior year, and as they strole into the assembly, they found that they had gained two new members. They were Vartha and Bob Thompson, who here from Holt, Vlssouri. ' CURB During the junior year, the class put out the Blue Streak, served at Patron's Day, gave a prom and banquet Tor Ehe senior class, and received their class rings. Then came tie senior year, and the class lished the a nual, and then last but not least, graduated from good ole BCHS. pub- they
