O emenl Exerczse This year marked the Golden Anniversary in the history of Banks High School. The 1971 Commencement Exercise was held on June 4 with a total of 61 graduates attending this 50th ceremony. Fourteen of these seniors were members of National Honor Society. Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness was the motto chosen by the graduates. Their class flower was a yellow rose and their colors were Royal blue and Sky blue.
