I, as Lieutenant Commander of this
voyage, would like to take this opportunity
to thank the crew of the U,S,S,BANGOR
HIGH SCHOOL for their cooperation with
me in matters of general ship discipline.
Your principal, as Captain of the ship, is
the coordinator of the whole Crew. His
many duties are scheduling, coordinat-
ing, and supervising to see that our ship'
sails smoothly. As his assistant, I have
been delegated certain duties to relieve
him of a certain amount of detail. Since
most of our students are proud of their
team work, the result is that we are able
to h ave cooperation and harmony
throughout the entire ship.
You are in various stages of your
high school Career or what might be
compared with a "shake-down" cruise.
This cruise is preparing you for that
much longer and much more demanding
voyage---the voyage of life. To the ex-
tent that you take advantage ofthe oppor-
tunities afforded you now, the smoother
your sailing will be later on.
SENIORSI Your cruise is almost over.
We trust you will soon find your proper
station in the voyage of life. If the Guid-
ance Department has played any small
part in helping you realize that station,
we are grateful. Smooth sailing!
