JUNIORS: DIFFERENT AGAIN? Hip Hippe Hooray The Junior Class Play proved to be a little out of the ordinary. Hip Hippie Hooray was a far cry from the previous plays put on at BHS. The play is the story of a straight girl who opens a free restaurant for hippies, hoping to find her missing hippie brother. When her money runs out the hippies help out. A hippie happening. People are charged to watch everyday hippie life and hippies are rented out for high society parties, all to keep the joint open. When the rebel brother returns he decides to give the straight life another try. It was a happy ending both on stage and in real life. The play was also different in that every member in the class had a part and many had two. With the exception of minor trouble with an amplifier at the matinee, both performances went smoothly. We hope our director, Mr. Albrecht, was pleased with our record crowd; we certainly were pleased with it and the profits. 29

CHRISTMAS IS. . . Boy those Seniors sure make good punch! I wonder what's in it? Christmas Is. . .was the theme that was carried throughout the decorations at the formal dance sponsered by the Seniors. It was held December 22, 1972 for all students, faculty, and their guests. A gift exchange, with Santa as our special guest, was followed by the dance with The Forte providing the music.
