The Industrial Arts Club, and honor club, was formed this year, with Mr. Olson as sponsor. Officers were: President-Rod Tietz, Vice President-Rock Sorensen, Secretary-Treasurer-John Venner, and News Reporter-Randy Bray. Members of the club built the new trophy case, and sponsored the Golden Hammer Award, which Mr. Olson later presented to Rod Tietz for his skill, interest, and ability in the field of Industrial Arts.
