JUNIOR CLASS HISTOR Y In the fall of 1957, fourteen boys and ei-ght girls enrolled for their Junior year at B. H. S. During the first semester, Verion Greenfield left the class. The following were elected as class officers: President, Earlene Dixon; Vice-President, Johnny Brehmer; Secretary - Treasurer, Tom Collins, and News Reporter, Helene Lase. Those out for football were Wendell Beineke, John Brehmer, Tom Collins, Dick Gleeson, Bob Kai, Ronnie Raasch, and Gary Simonsen. Those out for basketball were Wendell Beineke, John Brehmer, Tom Collins, Burton Gatzemeyer, Dick Gleeson, Dale Nelson, Ronnie Raasch, Myron Rodick, and Gary Simonsen. The girls in Girls’ Glee are Helen Anderson, Lenora Dittberner, Earlene Dixon, Verlee Greenfield, Joan Heise, Bonnetta Paulsen, and Karen Bargmann. The boys in Boys’ Glee are Wendell Beineke, John Brehmer, Dick Gleeson, Bob Kai, Loy Munderloh, Dale Nelson, Myron Rodick, Leon Schleusener, and Gary Simonsen. All the girls were in Pep Club. Members of the band were Wendell Beineke, Lenora Dittberner, Joan Heise, and Helene Lase. Those out for declam were Helen Anderson, Karen Bargmann, Wendell Beineke, Lenora Dittberner, Earlene Dixon, Joan Heise, and Verlee Greenfield. Mrs. Alexander and Mr. Harper are the class sponsors.
