SECOND ROW: Darlene Doht, Sherry Zobel, Margery Raasch, Ronnie Leimer, Mr. Harper, Billy Presser, Norman Petersen, Rodney Gatzemeyer, Pat Gatzemeyer, Tom Canarsky. THIRD ROW: Jim Meyer, Carole Koehler, Wenda Block, Jackie Crowell, Carolyn Luedke, Myron Bieneke, Mylon Beutler. Tom Canarsky Presidem SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY Pat Gatzemeyer Vice-President Jackie Crowell Secty. Treas. The Sophomore class of 54-55 started in session with 24 students. 9 boys and 15 girls. Class officers were: President, Tommy Canarsky: Vice-President, Pat Gatzemeyer: Secretary and Treasurer, Jackie Crowell; and News Reporter, Carole Koehler. Larry Peterson left the class and is going to school in Rosalie but Jackie Crowell is new in our class. Those going out for football were: Mylon Beutler, Ronnie Leimer, Billy Presser, Tommy Canarsky, Rodney Gatzemeyer, and Pat Gatzemeyer. The same boys were out for basketball. Bill Presser, Tommy Canarsky, Ronnie Leimer, and Larry Peterson lettered in the Freshman Relay for Track last year. Those that lettered in football were Tommy Canarsky, Ronnie Leimer, Rodney Gatzemeyer, and Tommy Canarsky lettered in basketball as he was Student Manager in 53-54. All the girls took part in Girls Glee and Girls Athletics. All were in Pep Club except one. The Second team cheerleaders were Wenda Block, Jackie Crowell, Darlene Doht, and Sherry Zobel. The members of the band were: Joan Larson, Bonita Kruger, Carole Koehler, and Joyce Neel. Mr. Harper was our class sponsor. Guy Margaret's Cafe Morgans Tavern Lane and Anderson Oil Co.
