Senior IfirophttQ Let us take a step into the distant future and see what has happened to the sixteen members who graduated from Bancroft High in the year of 1955 Try to visualize each member ten years hence while I aim to show you that each one has really been a success. First let us travel to Omaha. We find here Lois Koehler, who is an English Instructor. She goes daily to Riverside park and converses with the parrots, teaching them Better Ways of English. ........ «... . . . , ... . In Denver we visited Billy Brummund. who has graduated from an engineering school with high honors. Billy is now doing several spectacular works - one of which is to find a way to build a bridge from the earth to the moon We find Janet Munderloh and Marilyn Crowell in Houston. Texas. They founded a ’Pickanmnny Home where they care for small pickanmnmes during the day. They tell me alos that most of the children are now able to read and translate some shorthand. In New Mexico we find Billy Gatzemeyer acting as a gondolier. He rows a boat and sings many beautiful love songs to the pretty ladies who go b°alInlLosgAngeles, California where we found Delores Lutjen and Florence Hermelbracht playing with the Benny Goodman's Band. Delores plays her saxophone andVlorence plays her trumpet. They are the only two girls in the band, but they are having lots of fun. As we travel on down to Honolulu, we find Carolyn Neel and Sharon Leimer doing the hulu on the beach. Carolyn and Sharon are both teaching school in Hawaii, , . „ . . . . , Our next visit is to Australia, where we find our friend LaNel Russman going into the hot dog business. Frequently a kangaroo interfers. At our stop at Japan we met Roger Flock. Impossible as it seems. Roger has lost fifty pounds. He has at last grown a Hitler mustache. Roger makes a good waiter in a Japanese tea room in Tokyo. He blames his slim figure on the food in Japan. He says it just isn't as good as his mothers. As we travel to Baltimore. Maryland, we run into Claudeen Leriger. She is busy selling baby kangaroos and gorillas along with other wild animals, that she captured during her trip to Africa. . . . . Coming down La Salle street in Chicago, we spy an old museum. We notice, as we entered, a familiar car. It is none other than Duane Beutlers famous Chevy . He won the first place prize in the American Chevy race. Duane is now employed at a womans hat shop in Chicago. One of our boys has become a magician in Chicago. It is none other than Ronnie Anderson. He has grown a beard and now knows how to pull rabbits from a hat. which was always his long sought goal. Fired with much ambition. Ronnie is now working hard to learn how to saw a man in half. He says women are to scarce to use for such a stunt. , Paul Leriger. I find is busy with the Super Circus in New York. He acts as the man on the flying trapeze, and has great fun being shot from the cannon twice daily. There’s a man who will get far in life. Our last visit is in Alberta, Canada where we found Janice Drummond raising Angora cats and selling canaries. She is quite successful. Class Will I, Ronnie Anderson, will my good nature to Ardith Sorenson so she can get along with the teachers. I, Duane Beutler, leave my schoolgirl complexion to Mervin Haase. I, Bill Brummund, leave my athletic ability to the Junior boys. Divide it up boys, there should be enough for all. I, Marilyn Crowell, will my sweetness to Bette Benson to help her along in her fields of interest. I, Janice Drummond, leave Marvin and my giggles to no one. I've lived with them both too long to part with them now. I, Roger Flock, have nothing to leave but my nickname so I leave it to Dennis Paulson. We, Billy Gatzemeyer and Paul Leriger, will our ten pretty girls plus Tom Fredricksons three pretty girls to Ronnie Leimer, and Tom Canarsky. I, Florence Hermelbracht, leave my temper to Maggie Geisler and Caryl Oberhelmann so they can tell the refs off at the games next year. I, Lois Koehler, will my brains to George Grone. With both his and mine he should be another Einstein. I, Sharon Leimer, will my car keys to my brother Ronnie. I, Claudeen Leriger, will the gypsy in my soul to Nina Bargmann. I, Delores Lutjen, will my Olds to Kenny in hopes that it will last another three years. I, Janet Munderloh, leave my quiet ways to Larry Bargmann so he won't get any more eighth periods. I, Carolyn Neel, will my echoing moose call to Shirley Bassett to keep the pep club alive at the games. I, LaNel Russman, will myself to the outside world. Yippee! We, the Seniors, will all our good times to the students of B.H.S., and our sincere appreciation to all of the wonderful teachers who slaved very hard to put us where we are. We have authorized our Class President to witness and sign this will. cO-eM '
