Munderloh, Heep eh keeping wt SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY In the fall of ’53, twenty-one students returned to Bancroft High as Sophomores. Class officers were elected as follows: President, Glen Zobel, Vice President, David Gatzemeyer, Secretary and Treasurer, Margaret Geisler, Class Reporter,Tom Frederickson, Student Council, George Crone. Tom Frederickson, Larry Bargmann, Merlyn Jacobson, Glen Zobel, George Grone took part in the sport of football. When basketball season rolled around David Gatzemeyer, Merlyn Jacobson, Tom Frederickson, and Glen Zobel took up the sport. All the girls belong to Girls Athletics with the exception of one. All the girls belong to Girls Glee. Members of the band are Glen Zobel, Larry Bargmann, Lois Munderloh, and Carolyn Bettenhausen. Those from our class who took up declamatory work were Judy Bray, Nina Bargmann, Kathryn Mielke, and Carolyn Bettenhausen.
