SECOND ROW; Miss Marlin,• Sponsor, Dean Kjeldgaard, LaNel Russman, Marvin Daberkow, Jack Gardes, Lester Wegner, Royce Munderloh, and Mrs. Wells, Sponsor. THIRD ROW: Walter Burhoop, Betty Munderloh, Marian Lase, Marion Brehmer, Jolene Kolell, Myrna Bray, and Vernon Munderloh. JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 51 nineteen students enrolled as Juniors of Bancroft High. The class officers were elected as follows: President Walter Burhoop, Vice President Jolene Kolell, and Secretary-Treasurer Marian Lase. The boys that went out for football were; Marvin Daberkow, Walter Burhoop, Lester Wegner, Jack Gardes, and Dean Kjeldgaard. The following went out for basketball; Lester Wegner, Jack Gardes, Dean Kjeldgaard, Royce Munderloh, and Marvin Daberkow. All the girls took part in Girls Glee with the exception of one. The following were in mixed chorus; Jolene Kolell, Myrna Bray, Betty Munderloh, Betty Gatzemeyer, Geraldine Havekost, and Norma'jean Block. All the girls went out for Girls Athletics and all were members of the Pep Club. The Juniors who played in the High School Band were; Myrna Loy Leimer, Betty Munderloh, Marian Lase, Geraldine Havekost, Betty Gatzemeyer, Royce Munderloh, Vernon Munderloh and Lester Wegner. Only one member of the class, Lola Peterson, participated in Declamatory work. This is her third year. The Junior attendents to the King and Queen were Marian Lase and Lester Wegner.
