Morris hit the score column once on a 15 yard end sweep, Best on defense were Jimmy Kemp, Guy Everhart, and Bubba Utsey. . .9th Game - Heavily favored Bamberg team held to tie by Wade Hampton 7-7. Tommy Bunch, Right Halfback, playing his last game as a Raider, scored Bamberg's lone T,D, with Lewis Brown tying the score with his blast off tackle for P,A,T, Bunch, Walter, and G, Sandifer stood out for BHS. . . 10th Game - Bamberg gains 6th victory of year by easily downing McColl 20-O. Clary scored twice, once on a short run and once on a beautiful pass play from Fullback Brown, the play covering 65 yards. Quarterback Morris tossed a 45 yard pass to End Sonny Beard for a T,D, Brown and Morris add extra points. Reserves play most of 2nd half. G. Standifer and Bobby Clary played Outstanding ball. . .llth Game - Allendale-Fairfax defeats Bamberg 13 -6. Homecoming game ends season for Bamberg, Right half Tommy Walter took pitchout from Morris and went 1,5 yards to score. A-F came back strong to score twice and win. An extra tight game was seen all the way with both teams knocking at each other's door regularly. Brown's crushing runs sparked Bamberg with Gene Sandifer and Frampton Gunnells doing most of the defensive work. The Red Raider seniors that bowed out in this game were Sonny Beard, Gene Sandifer, Cecil Proveaux, Bill Robinson, Willard Sandifer, Clint Morris, and Tommy Walter. Miss Sally Zeigler was crowned 1955 Homecoming Queen at half-time by Superintendent Marvin G. Gault. Miss Janice Grooms and Miss Linda Kemp were the runners -up. The annual Homecoming Parade was on tap during the afternoon and was, as usual, very good. . . The JAYCEES again gave the team a Banquet at which Coach Bob Jones of CLEMSON gave the address, Players were awarded jackets, sweaters, letters, and trophies by Coach Weldon. . .

Brown scores following an 85 yard drive. Jackets come back to win easily. Best for B,H,S. was Bobby Clary and Lewis Brown on offense. Doing most of the tackling was Tommy Bunch, Tommy Walter, and Clint Morris. . . 5th Game - The victory hungry Raiders score easy 20 -'I win over Holly Hill. Morris goes 10 and 60 yards to paydirt. Brown gets 2 P.A.T.'s Walter recovers blocked kick for a touchdown. All backs ran well while Jolly Blume, Gene and W. Sandifer stood out in the line. . . 6th Game - Denmark falls easily, 27 -0. Brown laterals to Morris for first score. Gator Sandifer tosses 40 yard pass to the great pass catching end, Sonny Beard, for 2nd score. Morris passed to Beard for another T,D,, and the final '1',D, came on an end sweep by the speedy split T signal caller, Clint Morris. Clary Brown, and W. Sandifer score extra points. Brown ran wild at will all night long. Bunch, G. Sandifer, and Utsey starred on defense. Reserves played most of 2nd half. . . 7th Game - Red Raiders pull biggest upset in state by routing Kingstree's highly rated and highly favored Boll Weevils 41 to 7 before an overflowing Homecoming crowd. Morris scored 3 times on great runs, Sonny Beard caught 2 T.D. passes from Morris, and left halfback Bobby Clary scored once. FB lewis Brown bulled his way for 5 extra points. Entire team com- posed of above mentioned plus G. Sandifer, Everhart, Hartley, Robinson, Kemp, W. Sandifer, Bunch, Walter, Gunnells, Blume, Utsey, and M. Sandifer stood out in the victory. Kingstree lost the lower state championship by 6 points. . . 8th Game - Williston is next victim 13 -0.
