SIVIALL STAFF ATTEIVIPTS T0 KEEP NEWSPAPER ALIVE A lack of support for Bamberg l-ligh's school pub- lication, the TOWN CRIEFR, forced editor-in-chief Shel- ley Joy to reduce the projected editions from 5 to 4. The small but dedicated staff consisted of Jen Ward, Diana Vierra, Sheila Coupet, William Whitehead, Dawn Holdorf, Jodie l-lousley, and Alex Burnard. The sponsors, Mr. Luken, Mr. Krauchi, and Mrs. Krauchi, taught their staff, some of who had never worked with a newspaper before, how to put a paper together. You see a reflection of yourself, for RE- FLECTIONS mirrors the hopes, fears, dreams, and musings of the schools students who submit their work. The board of editors - William Whitehead, Keeva Westbrook, Dawn Cavanaugh, Bret Rogers, and Aimee Monette - select the very best of the work submitted. A panel of teachers then select the top poem, prose selection, artwork, and cover design for cash awards. Reflections

The Cadets of BHS The 1987-88 Bamberg AJROTC was active and alive in many community and school activities this year. They presented the colors at the beginning of each pep assembly, as well as performing for Family Week at JFK Gym.
